Our mission
The MOD APK community is huge — our internal Semrush audit tracks more than 62,000 monthly searches across 239 core keywords for terms like mod menu, Roblox mod apk, Spotify premium unlocked and GTA 5 mod menu. Behind those searches are millions of players trying to find honest information. Unfortunately, the search results are flooded with copy-paste blogs, fake download buttons, phishing pages and files that have never been tested.
MODENU exists to fix that. Our mission is to publish hand-tested, virus-scanned, honestly-labelled MOD APK reviews so players can decide for themselves whether a file is worth downloading. We are not a link farm and we are not affiliated with any game or app publisher.
How we test files
Every file featured on our homepage goes through a five-step verification process before we publish it:
- Source vetting. We only source from developer-known distribution channels or from community releases with a verifiable public history.
- VirusTotal scan. Each APK/EXE is uploaded to VirusTotal and the aggregated engine result is archived. Anything triggering more than two heuristic flags is rejected.
- Sandbox install. A rotating pool of physical Android, iOS and PC devices installs the file inside a network-isolated sandbox. We monitor permissions, network traffic and startup behavior.
- Feature verification. We spend at least 30 minutes actually playing the game or using the app to confirm the advertised features (unlimited coins, premium unlocked, mod menu overlay) really work.
- Editorial write-up. A tester writes a review with screenshots, version number, checksums and a plain-language safety verdict.
What makes us different
Three things separate us from other MOD APK sites:
Real people, real devices. Our team of testers is listed on our Our Team page with names, roles and expertise. We are not an anonymous SEO farm.
Daily updates. When a game like Roblox pushes an update, most MOD APK sites break for weeks. We re-verify every top-100 title on a daily cadence so download links point at working, current versions.
No surveys, no shorteners. We refuse the standard “locker” monetization model. Every download link is direct or hosted on a reputable public mirror. Our revenue comes from responsibly-placed display advertising — see our Advertising Policy.
Editorial independence
We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive review, and we do not remove critical reviews at a developer’s request. Our advertising team has no input on which files we cover or how we score them. If a game we like also happens to advertise on the site, we disclose it inline in the review.
Any factual mistake found on any page is corrected publicly under our Corrections Policy. Learn more about how we write, source and fact-check our reviews on the Editorial Policy page.
Who reads MODENU
Our audience skews young, mobile-first and international. In the last 90 days we have served readers from more than 140 countries, with the biggest traffic clusters coming from the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Indonesia, Morocco, Egypt, the Philippines and Germany. About 72% of our readers are on Android, 18% on iOS and the remaining 10% on Windows or macOS.
Whether you land on modenu.com looking for a Kiddions Mod Menu tutorial, a legitimate Spotify Premium APK build, or a review of a niche title like Sons of the Forest Mod Menu 2025, we try to give you the same three things every time: an honest verdict, a working link, and a clear safety note.

Our history & milestones
The MODENU project started as a small Telegram community in 2023 sharing safe MOD APK builds between friends. As the group grew past 40,000 members, it became clear that the biggest need was not more files but trustworthy signal: which builds were actually clean, which were phishing, which were just old. We launched modenu.com in mid-2024 as a public editorial site built on that principle.
Since launch we have published more than 900 individual reviews, retired more than 120 mods that stopped being safe, issued corrections for 41 articles, and answered around 6,800 reader questions by email. Every one of those numbers is auditable inside our internal editorial dashboard; if you are a journalist or researcher and want to verify them, contact [email protected].
